CFA Triumphs at State Road Rescue Challenge

CFA was invited to attend this year's State Rescue Challenge, hosted by VICSES. The event was held over the weekend of 6 December at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds. With help from the Australasian Road Rescue Organisation (ARR), CFA and VICSES were put through their paces in a multitude of car rescue scenarios, with time limits on all of them. The cars were crushed to resemble real-life entrapment situations.

I know that Werribee put a lot of work into the rescue training. As well as getting a lot of real ones courtesy of the Princes Freeway. Best leader and medic too, well done!
