I am trying to get the word out about an Iphone App I created.

It is called RescueCalc. It is on the App Store https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rescuecalc/id618407837?mt=8

It is a simple calculator for finding the weight of concrete and steel. It has shapes such as Square, Pipe, Trapezoid for concrete and Beam, Plate, Pipe and Tubes for Steel.

You can choose Imperial or Metric for your weight calculations.

I wrote it to be "field friendly" with a simple user interface.

Thanks!

Jeff

Hi, I'm a firefighter at Ft. Sam Houston here in Texas. My dept has been toying with the idea of putting together a us&r team. If anyone has any tips on how to get this going i would definitly appreciate it.

Hi all. I'm a member of NY TF-2 out of the Albany area. We're a medium level group and draw membership from eleven counties. We were involved in Project Vigilant near Buffalo in November. Some of you may have been there, since we had participants from VT, MA, CT, NJ, PA, OH, IN, IL, ON, a number of different units from NY, NYNG and USAF. Be safe, be smart.

Anyone who wants to post some insight regarding the Haiti disaster, feel free to step in and add. If you have people with questions as to why the feds aren't dumping 28 teams into the Caribbean, the interview with Harold Schaphoulman addresses some of those, and I discuss a little about the situation at Firehouse Zen.

There's a lot more to the situation than meets the eye.
