Fair bit of rain across NSW, looks like we'll get a break from any serious fire for a short while!

In NSW we are bracing ourselves for an epoch season. Yesterday (17 Dec) was brutal, I think there were 80 fires in NSW alone! The Sydney region has had a couple of good 'uns, and I think they lost a few buildings in Londonderry yesterday.

We are well aware that last years tragedy could just as easily happened in NSW instead of Victoria, we just got lucky. We've done more hazard reductions this year than we have in the past 4, so hopefully we'll be ready for whatever happens.
