Hey Kid,

I took my "FUNDIES", (fundamentals, remember them?), back in 1984. I remember the excitement of doing the thing I wanted to do most for the first time. That was a great time in life. Meeting for the first time all those men who would save my ass time after time. Each time I find myself in one of those "OH SHIT" situations I thank them for the beating. Bleeding and pain in training means not bleeding and no pain in the real thing. I'll wear the tag of probie with pride

Holy Cats....you take an afternoon off from FFN and all hell breaks loose!!

I'm particularly gratified that so many firefighters on here with so much experience are willing to share their time and expertise with those of us with so much to learn.
