I have been involved with West Hancock Fire and Rescue since just after the storm. Its a tough little fire department struggling to survive.

I have the higheset amount of respect for the chief and am thankful for all the firefighters who have donated time and energy to help ther recover from near destruction.

Hey all yesturday we got on to the Flag pole project and with the help of Tommy Dean and his tractor we made it happen and no body got hurt. We also went to two accidents on I-10 one in the woods with no injuries and the other involved a police case and a officer got hurt. Today is parade day so we are going to clean up the station and some trucks and take care of bisness.

dan, Got all the hose over here today from Bayside and it is ready to go to the next stop. It is about a 50/50 split of 2 and 1/2 and 1 and 1/2. All regular hose with nst threads no rubber. We also clean the entire station today and cleaned out all cars and trucks for the parade on saturday. The bathroom project looks like it might not happen due to a lack of funds.

Hey all me and Don got here today and went right to work. We started on the upstairs bathroom and have a big list of items to get done tommorrow. We went on 1 medical so far today and are sitting around catching up on news. Tommorrow I am going to get the hose you asked for and we are moving it to Pearlington.

Dan I have final plans for me and a freind who happens to be a contractor to go down the 3rd to the 7th. We are planning on working on the upstairs bathroom and helping out with the Saturday events. Are you men still comming down for that other job?

Dan,
Look at www.govdeals.com It is a government surplus web site. Boots and helmets are on there frequently for next to nothing. However, most do not ship...local pick up only. (FYI)
