Well last time I posted here, I had 19 weeks left of class. Its all over now and NREMT is done, sent my papers to AZ DHS and Im all certed. Glad its over and keep up the good work to all still putting up with the agony, Stay Safe.

National Register definitely more con ed hours even in here in NC.

If you think you might want to work in another state then yes. the only downside I can think of with NREMT is it requires 24 hours more continuing education than state. thats in Iowa anyway, I dont know about NC.

ya, I took the NREMT about a month ago there was ALOT about shock on the test. I dont really know what other advise to give you, just dont stress if you think you missed alot most people think they did worse than they really did on the NREMT test. good luck!!

To all in a Paramedic class I've been a Medic in NC for 8 years and one important thing I see with medics is a lot of them think the best treatment for patients is drugs, when the simplest basic skill can help them. Always remember your basic. We were taught the Paramedic saves the patients and the BASICS save the Paramedic! Good Luck to all!

know your patient assessment flow sheet well. If you use the brady 11th edition there is one on the back inside cover your instructor mite give you a simpler version (mine did) and that helps. when it comes time to take your written test be sure you know shock very well.

I am an EMT-B in Iowa, Im starting Paramedic classes this fall. Any EMT students with questions I will try to help. Anybody with advice on the Paramedic program let me know.
