whats your roll? do you set up rehab? just sit in the rig untill needed?? what do you do?

since my primary roll is an interior firefighter in my dept i am involved in supression activities. our rescue/ems truck rolls to ever fire and is where we set up our rehab. this is mostly done by eather the ambulance crew( we have a good relationship with em so we dotn care if there in our truck while were not around) or members of the dept who are just ems members. the reason i ask is when i was in va there was a ambulance squad who would just sit in the rig unless asked to do anything, and when asked they got kind of pissed, they would get pissed if u asked for water.
