We have a 3 year old KME with a couple problems that the manufacture and dealer service just can't seem to correct. There is a heavy odor of anti-freeze when the engines hot. Hoses have been replaced several times but the odor keeps coming back. There is also water leaking around the electrical boxes in the driver side front compartment that they have been unsucessfull at getting sealed. I'm looking for any feed back, suggestions, stories of similar problem and how they where resolved.

Our chief knows Ed Opella and was sending him an email tonight and calling him in the morning.
There has been some action on our pumper lately. The local KME dealer/service has replaced some hoses, and has been working hard on the source of the leak in the compartment. Thanks to Tony B. reposting this on EVT Tech Talk we've gotten the attention of the administration at KME. Thanks Tony.
Our vol chief sold our two pumpers to the county and replaced them with Crimsons. The KMEs are still in use as special operations use.
