Usually most of your county fire districts are not civil service, at least here in MS. I don't know of any city dept that is not civil service, i think they have to be by law??? Good luck in your search

Why are you looking for non civil service if I may ask? The test is a breeze, unless you're drawing retirement and it will interfere?
