New guy.
Hello my name is Johnny Land, I am a level 2 firefighter and an Emt basic. I am new to the fire service and just started part time at Goshen township fire department and Wayne township fire department. Ive been running volly at Wayne for a little over a year. Im always looking for good advise and pointers from more experienced peers. Thanks. Johnny

Welcome, Take your time learning. It won't come all at overnight so be ready for a lot of learning. My opinion is try to go for paramedic since a lot of stations are going to it. This would be especially helpful if you want to pursue it as a career on a paid dept. in the future. Some now require ff/paramedic certified. Also, try and advance your ff schooling to include advanced levels.
