needs some help with fire helmet manufacturing parts can anyone help????
Ok everyone so I have received a request from a company looking to purchase parts of fire helmets, so they can use them for manufacturing, it is an overseas company and so the standards are different. I need to know if anyone has any ideas or suggestions on where I can find a company that would sell the different pieces I have received request for. They include webbing ribbon nylon, foam for lining of crown, crosslinked PE foam. If anyone has anything for me on this, please contact me or add a post here or something, I am completely lost on where to get these materials, but do not want to reject the request as it could be a substantial account for my company.... thanks to anyone who has anything to suggest!!!

I suspect that you are on a hiding-to-nowhere on this one. Most helmets makers manufacture most of their components in-house or have them made to their own specification by specialist third party suppliers.

Thank you Andy for the help, but as I started looking into the different parts the customer was asking for, I realized that it's just not that easy and really not what my business is about, so I told my customer that he would be better off contacting separate suppliers for each item he is looking for and that most company's who manufacture helmets, typically aren't going to be selling their supply to other manufacturers. I DO appreciate the help very much and it could have been a great sale, but it's just not an aspect of business that I can get into at this point in time.
