Health issues are one of the largest problems in emergency services today. With all the medical calls, MVA's, and Fires we run, you think we would care a little more about ourselves. The leading medical cause of death in the Fire service is cardiac problems. Its starts with what we eat, then its down to doing exercises, like learning to lift things correctly. First of all, how can we take care of someone else, if we can't take care of ourselves properly? Let's do something about it, say something at work. I know some of the guys don't want to hear it, but if you care about them, you'll push the issue. I would love to see the LODD drop this year. I think we need more education, what do you guys think?
