After a run the other night the asst. chief was telling stories from days of yore. (Like six years ago before I was on). LOL

Any how he was telling of a time when paged to an over turned tractor with a man pinned under it. They arrived to find a man pinned by the feet. Well everybody on dept also knew the man and knew he had artificial prosthesis legs. They ask if he was hurt he said "No these dam legs have me pinned". So they said we will cut your pants and unstrap them. As they started to work on cutting them the medic form the local EMS service walked up and ask the man can you feel your legs? The man with a angry look said "HELL NO". The medic turned to look for something just as fire dept finished unstrapping the man. When he looked back the fire dept was putting the man on there cot and it looked like they had just cut his legs off and threw him on the cot. The medic starts to freak out and the asst chief say we will dig his legs out now. The medic about passes out before he noticed the artificial prosthesis legs.

I had to tell this, I still roll when I think of this. You could not screw with someones head anymore that this. Could you imagine what a bunch of cavemen he thought the fire dept was. LOL
