Hi Folks -- I am a firefighter-filmmaker who is currently producing a 48 minute broadcast documentary dealing with volunteer firefighting. There is a second stand-alone video, which will be provided to departments for volunteer recruitment.

Right now, I'm looking for PA departments who would like to be involved in the film. I especially need to shoot staged responses -- i.e. members boarding the engine, gearing up, shots from inside the rig while responding, apparatus passing by the camera, etc.

This is the FIRST TV documentary in many, many years dealing with the Volunteer Fire-Rescue-EMS and my goal is to provide the general public with an inside view of our way of life. This is an important documentary because for the volunteer system to survive -- we need the public's support.

Departments and members who become involved will receive DVD's of both the long form documentary and the recruitment video.

This is an important film, one which will receive a great deal of attention. I'm encouraged by the response so far, and my hope is to add more departments and companies during the remainder of the summer.
