The West Caldwell Fire Department bought this truck new in 1928. It was a state of the art pumper back in the 20s 30s 40s. It served the township well, and then went to parades and such from the 60s thur the 80s. It won many trophys over the years. It went into storage in the late 80s and not much happened with it. We started the restoration on the truck over the winter, and it ended up in our Memorial Day Parade this year, the first time in 25 years. Let me know what you think.
