Went out Saturday morning Pheasant hunting. I don't own a dog (lease issues with the landlord) and I never have. On opening day of the season I took a beautiful rooster.
Today, (Wednesday the 22nd) I went out for a nice morning hunt. I flushed 1 nice rooster but couldn't get a shot off on the low flying bird.
(There were hunters in the way)

It promises to be a real good small game season.

Any other bird hunters out there? Small gamers??
