  Maryland in a whole new light!  Candle and kerosene lanterns are lit
  on many of the 42 antique fire engines on Lantern Night, Oct 27th, 6 
 to 8 pm, for this family friendly Halloween. \nIn the warm glow of la
 ntern light, re-enactors in period costume will tell their unique stor
 ies.  Civilians and fire fighters from the 1700s through 1800s, the B
 uffalo Soldiers of the 1870s, and civilians and soldiers from the War 
 of 1812 will describe lives within their time periods.\nThe sound of k
 eys clicking will be heard while visitors send messages by telegraph t
 o others around the museum.  Lantern Night is sponsored by Columbia B
 ank and the Baltimore Commission on Arts and Sciences.\nVisitors in co
 stume get in at half price. Free parking. The Fire Museum of Maryland 
 is one block north of the Beltway, Exit 26B, behind Heaver Plaza, Luth
 erville. Children (2 – 18) $5, Adults $12, Seniors and Fire Fighters
