DESCRIPTION:When firefighters, police officers, emergency medical serv
 ice personnel, and other emergency responders respond to scenes that a
 re really bad, they sometimes need psychological, emotional and spirit
 ual care that goes beyond one-on-one counselling. Since 1983, that car
 e has been provided via Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), cr
 eated to enable emergency service personnel (and others) to return to 
 their daily routine more quickly and with less likelihood of developin
 g post-traumatic stress disorder. Group Crisis Intervention introduces
  the fundamentals of CISM and participants will leave with the knowled
 ge and tools to provide several group crisis interventions: demobiliza
 tions, defusings and the Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.\nChaplai
