DESCRIPTION:“33RD ANNUAL STEAM SHOW”\n\nCome on down to the hottes
 t place in town! On Saturday, May 1st, 2010 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., the
  Fire Museum of Maryland will host its 33rd Annual Steam Show.\n\nJoin
  us for a day full of fun as 65-foot water towers shoot water up to 60
 0 feet! The Steam Show will feature steam engine demonstrations, horse
  drawn fire equipment and carriages as well as contests for the kids. 
 Apparatus will flow water and antique cars will fill the parking lot, 
 with many opportunities to learn more about the advancement of fire en
 gines throughout history. Come see the new 1870s Fire House Exhibit an
 d hear the Baltimore City Alarm Office tap out fire emergency calls.\n
 \nThis event kicks off our summer hours. The Museum is open from Septe
 mber-December, on Saturdays from 10am-4pm. From May-September, the Mus
 eum is open Wednesday-Saturday from 10am–4pm and on Sunday from 1-4p
 m. The Fire Museum is located on York Road, one block north of the Bel
 tway (exit 26 B) and has ample free parking, call 410-321-7500 or visi
 t our website for more information.\n\nThe Museum itself will also be 
 open from 10-4 pm, complete with 40 fire engines, a working fire alarm
  office, audio tours of the Museum, and of the Great Baltimore Fire of
  1904 as well as lots of fun things for kids to do in the Children’s
  Discovery Room. Children can put on turn out gear and climb on a 1938
  Mack Fire Engine. In addition, there are games, fire related toys and
  activities geared especially for preschool and elementary school-age 
 children. Weekdays during the summer, the FMM offers story time, movie
  time and crafts, as well as a special noon tour with Fire Fighter Tom
  Colleran, retired, BCFD.\n\nThe Fire Museum is located at 1301 York R
 oad, Lutherville (exit 26B off the Beltway). Memberships are $55 for t
 he whole family; Regular admission: $12 (adults); $10 (seniors & fire 
 fighters); $5 (ages 2-18); free for ages under 2 years old.\n\nFor mor
