DESCRIPTION:It is with the deepest regret, that the Hudson Valley Hell
 Cats announce the passing of Past Chief of the Wallkill Fire Departmen
 t Joe Kelly. Chief Kelly is the Father-in-law to President and Chief o
 f the Hudson Valley HellCats, Joe LoCicero, a Luietenant in the City o
 f Newburgh Fire Department. Chief Kelly was a volunteer firefighter in
  the Wallkill Hook Ladder & Hose Co. for more than 40 years, holding m
 any line officer positions including Chief of the Department, Company 
 President and Chairman of the Board of Commissioners. At the next leve
 l of firematic service, he served as President of the Ulster County Vo
 lunteer Fireman's Assn., then President of the Hudson Valley Volunteer
 's Fireman's Assn., and currently First Vice President of the N.Y.S. F
 ireman's Assn. Joe enlisted in the Army (69-71) including one year in 
 Vietnam as Combat Medic in the First Air Calvary Division, serving as 
 an infantry medic in the legendary Seventh Calvary Regiment \"Custer's
  Own\". He was decorated for valor during his tour, evacuating and tre
 ating wounded, often under fire. Joe was a member Most Precious Blood 
 Parish and served as Councilman for the Town of Shawangunk as well as 
 serving in the Wallkill Volunteer Ambulance Corps for 28 years.\n\n\n\

 \nVisitation will be Tuesday, February 15, from 2-4 and Firematic serv
 ices at 7-9 p.m., at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden NY. 
 A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, February 16, at 10 a.m., at Church o
 f the Most Precious Blood. Burial will be in St. Charles' Cemetery, Ga
 rdiner.\n\n\n\nIn lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fi
 reman's Home, 125 Howard Ave., Hudson, NY 12534-1600 (518-828-7695).\n
