 lexandria to continue Andy's legacy of excellent instruction on the ba
 sic operations of structural firefighting.\n\nThis three day lecture s
 eries covering fundamental fireground operations will be delivered by 
 friends of Andy, each of whom had the opportunity to share in Andy's l
 ife work.\n\nNot only will these training days be filled with high qua
 lity instruction, but they will also be loaded with living tributes to
  one of the true fire service leaders of our time.\n\nAndy Fredericks 
 was killed while operating as a member of the Fire Department of New Y
 ork, in response to the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. Pri
 or to his appointment to the FDNY, Andy began his career as a member o
 f the Alexandria Fire Department in Northern Virginia.\n\nShortly afte
 r his death, the members of Alexandria Professional Firefighters Local
  2141 established The Fredericks Family Fund to support the secondary
