Buildings Burn as Ferguson Erupts in Violence

Buildings were on fire on Monday in the US city of Ferguson on Monday as the city erupted in violence following the news that a Missouri police officer will not be indicted after the fatal shooting of unarmed teenager Michael Brown.

Aerial shots showed firefighters trying to put out fire at a Little Ceasers pizza store as well as at a Walgreens pharmacy in the city.

Crowds of protestors reacted after St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Bob McCulloch announced the decision that the grand jury will not indict officer Darren Wilson for the August shooting.

St. Louis County police confirmed that officers used tear gas to disperse crowds in Ferguson after a police car was vandalised, business windows shattered and gunshots were heard in the streets.
