I always say that trucks don't fall over by themselves...that may not be true when it comes to buildings.

Um, yeah...
Pancake collapse? no... lean to? no...V collapse? no.... Ah hell, it makes USAR operations pretty easy. :-)
Oh my good God. Hope they got a cheap rate on the contractor at least.
One must admit though, even though the foundation work was crap, whoever the contractor used for the rest of the building, did a pretty solid job.
a couple air bags, some cribbing . . . and it'll be propped back up again in no time.
Actually the budget wouldn't allow for an aerial to be purchased so a by-law was enacted that all hi-rises must fall over in an emergency
It could also be that they didn't have elevators and had to make the building accessible for the disabled.
No, they were trying to avoid workman's comp claims from the delivery staff about bad knees and backs so this was the solution right
That's one helluva March break party.

Sooo...if a highrise falls in a city, and nobody is around, does it make a sound?
Whoooooooooooooooosssssssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh thump!
lol....yup,..I guess it does. Thanks Jack.
