Own a Conway, and also New Yorker. prefer the look and tradition of the Cairns, but the low profile look of a Conway

Well, I'm not an active firefighter anymore but I wore the leather and still love them. I do have to say though that after looking at the newer versions, the skull bucket is way too big to accommodate all that extra stuff in there. Just makes 'em look top heavy to me. Prices have gone past the galactic border too. When I bought my first New Yorker in 1977 it cost me $78.00 and that with the front included.

Anyway, glad to see the "leatherheads" are alive and well in my new home state. I'm in Lincoln County btw.
