And we have a famous one here in my backyard as well. Santa Ynez, CA, with the ocean on one side of the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Santa Ynez Valley and Los Padres National Forest on the other. You might be familiar with Michael Jackson's Neverland Valley Ranch, which is here in the valley along with Beau Derek, Michael McDonald, David Crosby, Bob Eubanks and other movie and music types. The views and thermals from what I've been told are really cool. I've flown the area many times in one of our helicopters as a crew member but I'm sure that glider flying is a whole different ballgame. The noise factor for one has to be better, specially when a helicopter turns and the blades bite into the air. Happy flying my friend and stay safe, Mike
