I proudly am. Grandfather was Chief in the  30's and  40's until 1958. It skipped a generation with my mother, but she was always involved at the firehouse as a kid and teen. She was not suprised when I expressed interest. Now my son is a firefighter explorer and is really ecxcited about everything he is learning and training.
