Good Morning Everyone!  I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

 

My eyes are on the mend again after the second surgery.  They really hurt this time but we shall find out in a couple of months if this works or not.  In the meantime I limit my screen time and stay in constant contact with my officers letting them know what am comfortable doing depending on what my eyes are doing at the time.  Just need to get over this hurdle of being so sensitive to light.

a big shout out & thank you to Kevin Adams for sending gas down to California from Montana so that I can have HEAT - since it is dang cold here in my neck of the woods lately...

 

Good Morning to all you fine folk !!!

 

Sitting here in my "sleeping attire" ;-)   and eating hot applesauce on peanut buttered wheat toast _ YUM _ my favorite !!!    and drinking egg nog...  very festive at my house... now to scurry and get myself off to work... thought I had this week off - but I was wrong... gotta put in a few hours....

 

Hope you all have a great day - and keep the naughty antics alive while I am away !!!

Just got back from doing our annual Toys for Tikes toy delivery to families in need!! My department has been doing this for years!! This was my 20th year doing it and it still puts a smile on my face!! I brought my son and youngest daughter to give us a hand. They were both really helpful and delivered toys to the homes themselves with us watching very closely of course.

and it must suck for you when it comes to Christmas/Birthday presents - but from what I hear - you buy your own anyway - LOL ;-)

 

and yes, after mine were newly "named" (post war) I learned that Dolly Parton uses the same nickname...........

yes, one of my roommates dubbed their presence with such vim & vigor - since she reports "they have a life to them, like puppies stuffed in a sweater"  LOL

and as far as whiplash - brother, you should try being me - ya think full gear & pack are a burden to carry - throw on a few of these sweater puppies and it is quite a never-ending workout... just sayin... I have some serious shoulder muscles ;-)
