Hi Jamie T - sounds good, I will give it a go tomorrow. Am currently lifting 5.5 kg arm weights and pulling 40 kg on the lat-pull- down but I want to get stronger for when I get to undertake BA training.
Will let you know how I go on the tricept kickbacks!
Thanks for your assist.

Hi gals,
Attended a controlled burn yesterday on a very steep incline - really felt it in the quads! A great workout while doing something worthwhile.
FYI, here's a link to a video which shows the events my brigade running team participates in at the district and state championships.

Keep up the good work.

Hi there!
I’m a volunteer firefighter with the Country Fire Authority in Victoria, Australia.

Great to see this group as fitness is critical. Currently I run, do weights, surf (even in winter which takes stubborness to a new level!) and bit of yoga. I'm also in the fire brigade running team and at 49 am twice the age of some of the guys, so I need to really work out hard.

Advice please! I need to up my triceps and am doing tri-dips and hand weights but any ideas on strengthening this muscle group would be appreciated.
Cheers,
AA

Thanks for the invite. You are absolutely right. Being fit in some fields (fire service included), can mean the difference between survival and death. One firefighter I admire a lot, who is quite a fitness person, is Shelli Varela. She is the first female Captain in her area (Ontario, Canada).
