The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Hi Susan, I was invited by the Fire Peeps to go the the Fire Convention next week....dunno if I have the time nor the approval of my sups. It would be nice to go since I am pursuing my career in Fire Protection Engineering.
FW and MM, send the heat and the humidity....LOVE THEM BOTH, being raised in the Philippines, I'm used to it. 104 today....betcha my car seats are "warm"....and I'm wearing shorts to work. Gotta love the heat.

Ralph, take it easy on the job tonight. Hola to Katie. Tell her I still like her pic from FB. We have to love someone who puts up with you....LOL.

Hey Laurie...waz up in CT?

Afternoon all!! Chief, I have a couple of friends who have their labs trained to bring them beer from the fridge (bottles); just a thought! Sorry for the off-duty meathead!

Laurie ... hope the boomers up there don't produce any tornadic activity! I must admit, I don't associate them with New England too often!! Now in TN? Oh yeah, they love to beat us up!! :D

Hey Mike M! We need to figure out how to send Rossi our heat and get some nice 75 degree days!! Argh! Sunny here; rain left quickly yesterday so it's all good!

Hey Hondo ... sounds like fun! NOT!! Always keeps the adrenaline pumping when you are standing targets during storms!

Ralph ... do you know any small CO guys/girls? I have yet to meet one that could not use the nickname "Tiny"! LOL!! Tell Katie hello for me!

Hope everyone stays safe out there ... let's keep dodging those rain drops, lightning strikes, and swirly things!!

I'm glad you like the warm weather. I got stuck in Vegas for a weekend at the Pilot truck stop. I don't care what anyone says dry heat or humid heat anything over 100 is just plain hot! RP it's just supposed to be mid-80's here. FW I hope the rain don't hang around too long. Chief I hope the dog that you got is an outside dog those things can get pretty big but congrats on the addition to the family. Hondo hope the structure fire did little damage.

Happy weekend everyone. Thanks for the coffee Chief.....this is my weekend to work, AGAIN!!!! I swear I feel like a fire fighter sometimes with these weird work schedule. Worse part is, I'm not even working the Fire Station drawings....DANG IT!!!!

Chief Mike, dogs are fun. Take it as a challenge....LOL. Problem with labs are they shed a lot but they are very good water dogs, perfect for the Fire Fighter that you are. You can always bring him to the station and let the probies watch him. And why would you get in trouble with FB?

Wade, welcome to the crazies...have a cold one on me.

MM, 102 degrees todayin Vegas...another hot one. LOVE IT!!!!!
