Hey chief, just remember all those PIA changes just make us better and safer. Where I am we have free training and plenty of funds to go to the state fire academy and most refuse to do it. Scares me to think about being on scenes with some of these people.

Guess what? I got my jacket yesterday. May seem lame to some people but you know a jacket makes you feel more official. So I went to the store last night in high heels, all dressed up, with my Fairchild Fire Company jacket on. I thought some people would probably think I was wearing a guy's jacket, but mine said 'Denise.' Gave me even more of a thrill than my Class A. Go figure.
