so hows about an update, did you get on the job yet? I got a couple buddys that are trying for FDNY, were all active duty in NJ right now.

Hey, Just wondered how your, I guess you could say experience, was getting onto the FDNY waiting list? I am just starting as a volunteer in my town but have been around the business since I was a kid as my dad has been a volunteer since then. I am working hard to go paid and would love to go to FDNY. These entry level positions require no previous experience. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. A GED is acceptable.
