I was just wondering what type of Ladder Trucks do you have in your Departments.
Where I came from in New York, we had two ladder trucks. One was a 100 Ft. American
LaFrance Tiller, and the second was a 100 Ft. Mid Mount Seagrave. Just as I was leaving
the department was getting a 100 Ft. Rear mount Platform.
The Department I am with now has a 50 Ft. American LaFrance Squirt.
I will say that it is a much smaller Department I am with now, but I am hoping that
some day soon it will be replaced with a larger Ladder. It is 29 years old, and has been
a excellent truck, and still looks good for it's age.

So tell me, " Whats In Your Department "

Eric, beautiful Truck, from the picture, it looks as if it
dosen't fit in the fire house. Thanks for sharing the
picture with us. Stay safe brother. Mick
Sully, do you have any pictures you can share with us.
I feel as if the American LaFrance is one of the best
Fire Trucks Built, and I am not saying that their aren't
other well built trucks out there, I just happen to like
American LaFrance over all. Mick
Thanks Jeff, I will look into that.
I would just like to thank everyone that responded to
the discussion, and if we have anyone else that would
like to respond that would be great. If you have pictures,
please post them.
Do we have anymore Truckie's out there to share their Ladder
Trucks with us ????
We have one truck in our company. It is a 1982 Seagrave, rear mount 100 foot stick. It looks good for being so old, and a workhorse :-)

Hey Becky, thanks for responding to the discussion, and for sharing the picture of
your truck with us. We had an old Seagrave at the department I was last with, and your
right, it is a work horse. Thanks again, Be well, and stay safe out there.
We have 1992 E-One 110' Straight stick aerial. Single wheelbase the truck is awesome. I can get the truck in almost anywhere. I don't think they make the single wheel base aerials anymore.
Ours has none but the neighboring dept. just got a new one. No longer offered with all wheel steering.

Economy One 75' Quint, 2000 GPM / 500 water / 25 A/B FoamPro
