All our helmets are Black. Cairns traditional 1044. Rank is designated by different colored tetrahedrons on the helmets as well as the helmet fronts.

In my fire house, white is for commander's, red for the chief's and the FF is yelow.

Over here (Belgium-Europe) our helmets are white or Yellow (glow in the dark). Are rank markings are done by stripes on the helmet (see my page here).
