Huge brush fire burns between the two Florida cities of Viera and Rockledge in Brevard County it is not accessible to the fire department as it is in the swamp west of town. Off and on all day Florida Highway Patrol has had to close I-95 in both directions due to smoke. The fire was started by a late afternoon thunderstorm and a steady stream of ash has been falling all over the area. The plan is to let it burn out.
