The amount of expertise required to accomplish something like this is mind-boggling. The blades are VERY CLOSE to the trees.
This was an unexpected event where driving on Route 140 . . . the helicopter suddenly dropped down from the sky for refilling next to our moving car. The video clip was captured with a TG-3 Olympus underwater camera that was handy in the side pocket of the car. Further stabilization was done with Sony Vegas Pro 12 editing software.
