1st of all W T F does command have an ounce of sense in there heads to let 2 firefighters go onto this roof. Are we just looking to have more LODD. Come on people. TRAINING!!!

Absolutely no reason for them to be up there, not even for ventilation, that fire self ventilated out the two windows.

What are the guys doing on the roof, and where are the evacuation ladders for the guys on the roof?
I can tell that they were trying to vetilate, but that close to a flash over, is the integrity of the roof stable to stand on, or up by its own support? I would say pull out and go defencive, external only early, insurance will replace. They got very lucky the guys were able to get off the roof bofore colapse, with chance of survival very low,
