SpeedbirdFF - Stations 74, 81 and 14 were dispatched for a structure fire in Delaware near the Maryland border. Enroute units were advised a shed was fully involved and there was extension into the woods and brush. Engine-Tanker 74-2 responds and is the first capital piece on-scene.

SpeedbirdFF - Engine-Tanker 74-2 responds to a reported structure fire in Laurel. Units arrived to find a chicken house fully involved with fire and nearly on the ground. Firefighters worked to protect other structures and propane tanks.

(Helmet Cam) Maryland Working Garage Fire

On 11/4/2010 at approximately 2136 hours the southside stations were dispatched for a Garage Fire on Maryland Hwy in Bloomington, MD. Communications dispatched Station 36, Engine Tanker 22, Truck 24, Engine Tanker 19, and Engine Rescue 23 to the call. Chief 36 (Bever) arrived on the scene and reported a working garage fire. Engine Tanker 22 responded with 6 volunteers and D/C Kight. Chief 36 established the Maryland Hwy Command and had Engine 361 come up the driveway off of Rt 135 (Maryland Hwy). Engine Tanker 22 arrived within a minute of Engine 361 and supplied them with water. Engine 361's crew pulled an 1 3/4" attack line, while ET 22's crew pulled the supply line and the 1 3/4" back up line. 36's crew knocked down the bulk of the fire and then crew made an interior attack to knock down the rest of the fire inside the garage. The crews working on the scene opened up the building and had an extensive overhaul operations. Crew returned to service after approximately 3 hours. If you look at several of the photos, you will notice something very interesting! The amount of fire throughout the garage and "OLD GLORY" Flying on the corner of the building was untouched.

Butler County Fire District # 3 (Rose Hill Fire) responding to a residential structure fire on March 11, 2010 at 12:30am. The house was located in the rural area of Butler County near Rose Hill, Kansas. The drive from the fire station in Rose Hill to the fire was 6.5 miles. Responding mutual aid fire departments were: Andover Fire Rescue, Andover, KS, Butler County Fire District # 8, Douglass, KS and Augusta Department of Public Safety, Augusta, KS.
