Rochester Firefighters responded this morning for smoke from the house on Mona St. Quint 7 went on location with a lot of smoke showing from the second floor on all three sides of a 2 1/2. Battalion 1 assumed command and reported a working fire in a large vacant 2 1/2. Command further reported it would be an exterior attack. Truck 4 responded as the RIC, but was put to work, so Truck 10 was special called as the RIC. Engine 12 responded as a relief company and the fire was under control in about 45 min. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
