Penn. Auto Extrication Helmet Cam Footage

4-11-11 @ 1657 hrs Station 37, Rescue 36 and 40, and Medic 62 were dispatched to the Giant Parking lot on Rt145 for the accident with Rescue....crew arrived to a two vehicle mva with one rolled over and a female trapped inside....rescue crews removed the windshield to extricate the victim....video footage is from the Helmet Cam warn by the Driver of the rescue.

First, This video does not show much of the actual extrication because you can't see through all the firefighters standing around the overturned vehicle and secondly, our drivers are trained to STAY WITH THEIR APPARATUS. NOT WANDER AROUND A SCENE! If there is a need for the apparatus to be moved or a firefighter unfamiliar with the tools location on the apparatus needs to get a tool. The driver should be able to point the firefighter to the compartment where the tool is stored.
