Mayday at 3rd Alarm in Bethlehem, PA 05/26/16

09:41 Bethlehem sent 2 engines and 1 ladder to the 1600 block of East 8th Street for a house fire.

Once on location, firefighters found heavy fire in the rear of a 2-story duplex and the fire quickly escalated to 3 alarms.

Firefighters operating on the 2nd floor found themselves in trouble and transmitted a mayday. The firefighters couldn't wait for a ground ladder so they jumped out the window. They were treated by EMS and transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
