Hey, Happy New Year! Just getting back to this web site and getting caught up. Had a busy year here at North Star Fire. Total runs for the year are up 10% overall, with a 25% increase in EMS calls. Seems like every dept. up here is running harder this year. Sorry took so long to get back with you, but don't give up on us up here in the Great North. Once we get done shoveling the snow we sit down to warm up at the computer. Take care! Jerry Hanson.

Our long weekend, kiddies go back to school on Tuesday. Don't have kids, only thing that drives me crazy is traffic doubles in size when school is in....
Good to hear all is good your way, and that your keeping busy. I'm just finishing up some things and going to take a week off for fishing. As I will be very busy till the end of the year to finish off all training that is required for year end.... Plus a new Recruit class....

Check out Roll Call Forum and put some info about your Fire House in... Like to hear what your station is like, what you have as well as for number for firefighters as well as number of calls. Pass it around to your Firefighter Friends too....

Thanks for the invite, seems we have the name in common. Station I'm from is Alton Station in Caledon, Ontario Canada. Nice small hall just north of the Big City.

What type of therapy do you do? Also what type of dogs do you use? I used to take my shepherds to a couple of convelescent homes. In the end, I went with search and rescue. If I had time I would like to do it again with my Yorkie. I think he would be the perfect therapy dog.

Thanks, It will be a nerve racking week. I am up for a promotion.

I see you have therapy dogs. My parents do that and I have an assistance dog wash-out. Best dog anyone could ask for.
