Hello John thank you for the invite. I am no longer on the department that I was on as I have moved on but I didn't realize how much I was going to miss it.... I have a new venture now... check out my website page at www.etsy.com and my store is crazydaisycraft1. I sell coasters, trivets ( hot pads ) & now hot handle covers. 10% of sales on each product sold will be donated to the firefighter Terry Farrell fund. It's a great fund to help firefighters and their families in their time of need. They are handcrafted out of the same material that firefighter suits are made of. New material of course not used fire suits just to make that clear. Please if you could pass the word.

Thank you for the invite to be your friend. I never saw this site before Friday of this past week. I've been exploring the available information. What i have seen looks really good. I was elected 1st Assistant Chief for 2014. My primary duties are to drive and operate any of our four units. Engine 161 is a Peirce Contender and I am one of the Engineers, Rescue 166 is a heavy duty Rescue with an on-board Air Compressor and an eight bottle 5000 psi cascade system. When the Rescue is sent for an air assist I drive and operate the air filling system. Utility 163 which is in my profile picture is a one ton 4x4 Ford Pickup that tows RT-164 an all train unit with a brush fire skid unit and rescue unit for use on the Hoodle Bug Trail a county owned rail to trails walking & biking path right behind our station.
I have held many positions in my 45 years of service. I don't run like I did when I was younger. With age comes experience that I can share with the younger members of my fire company.
This Sunday we will be going for our HazMat Awarenss training that is required each year.
