if you have the chance to piggyback with another department in your area, then that's always the best way to buy stuff. we do it a lot with apparatus, health insurance and equipment purchasing with the Los Angeles City and County Fire Departments. It's cool to save the taxpayers money on one thing to enable buying something else as well... Yea GSA! TCSS, Mike

Hey Keith, I've never heard of that manufacturer before. Would you like me to look them up for you and ask my vendors seeing that I am working in logistics for awhile? Let me know.

I'm not sure actually... send an email to Dave the web chief and he will steer you in the right direction. You might go to the top box in red, that has your name, click on it, and on the right side, click on friends. Scroll through the names and look for mine. There may be a box to click to unblock me. Good luck and as the tow truck in the movie, CARS says, "Get Er' Done!". Take care bro, Mike

Sounds like your having more fun than me... Did you check out the video on my FFN page called IAP's? It has a tow truck uprighting a big rig, but they forgot to set the brakes on the semi, it rolled back when it got on it's wheels, which then put a lot of load onto the tow truck... and then the tow truck tipped over... now that's embarrassing, and it's on video! Take care bro, Mike from Santa Barbara, CA

Hi Keith, Welcome to the FFN. I've been learning the site for the past three months as I have been recovering from knee surgery. Blew out my right one on a wildland fire a couple of months back. Had the surgery and now life is starting to finally get back to normal for me. This has given me the time to spend getting to know a lot of folks around the world. Something that you may also find really rewarding. This week I started a new group called Hazmat WMD Responders. Please check out the site for some cool stuff that I've been collecting for over 25 years since first getting involved with hazmat. I think you might find some of the shared information really useful. Let me know if I can be of assistance as you learn about the FFN site. Stay safe! Mike from Santa Barbara, CA, USA
