It's freezing, there is snow and ice everywhere. I decide to cross the road just to get the mail. As I turn around, a guy speeds past me, skidding all around the road. And he wasn't the only one. Is it me, or do people drive recklessly during these storms? He was going WAY over the speed limit in the first place, and some others nearly crashed into a car pulling into a driveway. Can't people SLOW DOWN?

Though this storm is nasty, I had a good laugh when I walked by a tree and ALL of the ice on the branch fell onto of my head. Then all of the other branches began to lose their ice, and I had to run back to my house.

Anyone have any winter storm stories out there?

Hi, Sarah (the heroine).
Thanky you for the welcome!
Hey, now you are in the Heroes Gallery.

As for people speeding during inclement weather...
there really are folks like that, and the only thing
that would stop them is a crash. Trouble is,
they bring injury and death to others.

Instinct directs us when it is safe to speed
(just so for the short and instant thrill of
enjoying the power of a modern chariot)
then survival kicks in, but if one keeps
at it, for sure, consequences follow.

It is like talent and common sense.
Few have it. While many
enjoy zombie-ing.
