Somethings I think I think (My version)

Many years ago, there was a writer for the Pittsburgh Press. His name was Phil Musick. He wrote a column that had the same title as my subject title. Every once in a while, I'll write some stuff down. It's mainly for my amusement and bemusement. I have been thinking on some things, recently and in general and I want to share. Respond if you like, but no need to. This is just me, not one of those funky forwarding e-mails.

There is no limit to how many friends you have.

Communicating is one thing, knowing how to talk is another.

Talk is cheap. Some of the words, though, are very valuable.

Listen to your kids. You can learn from them.

I did not vote for Obama, but I will give him a chance.

Taking care of your needs first is okay, just don't go overboard.

My tough friends have lasted longer.

It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid, than to open it and remove all doubt!

Just when you think you've heard it all, someone else opens their mouth.

(My favorite) If ya can't dazzle them with your brilliance, baffle them with bullsh*t!

Day old spaghetti is better.

I need a vacation.

I haven't kareoked in a while.

Maybe I will sing in the choir.

Family is family, no matter how dysfunctional they appear.

Happy Birthday Uncle Frank! I miss ya!

Dad, I'm sorry that I missed your b-day. I miss you too!

Bits and pieces of heaven and hell are on this Earth.

Touch base with all of your friends, even if its once a year. They need it and so do you.

I need to stick with my weight loss plan.

This is a good place to pick up later.
