If he has unsupervised visitation than his current mental status makes no difference. The always slow and frequently lacking common sense judicial system (especially family court) would require filing new motions for change to supervised visitation and by the time they get to an actual court date God only knows what can happen. Frequently in custody/divorce cases the PD is used as a "neutral site" and really has nothing to do with the police.

If the father is "armed and suicidal" then how was he allowed to leave with the child especially from a PD station? That part was probably exaggerated by the child's mother who again probably did not have a amicable relationship with the child's father since they traded custody at a PD station. I hope the little girl is found safe. TCSS
