I have been told that having Aluminum Foil on your drop pans on your stove top and having Aluminum Foild on the bottom of your stove was a fire risk. Can anyone please send me information on this.

So not much is happening at the house today and I figured I would check this one out for ya. lol. I googled "aluminum foil fire risks" and pulled up a paper written on the subject by someone who certainly sounds like they know what they are talking about. LOL. Anyway, First off, The paper suggests that the presence of aluminum foil does not increase the risk of spreading fire. Secondly, It also says that molten aluminum can cause cracks in stainless steel on rare occasions. But I really dont think your cooking anything in your stove that will actually melt the foil and even if you did, it doesnt sound like it would really do any damage accept maybe make a bit of a mess. So from what I understand, go ahead and use that foil!!! LOL
