PPE Preparation

I am just starting my career in the fire department and I'm about 3 weeks away from my PPE. I'm in good physical shape so I'm not too worried about it but I was wondering if anyone had suggestions about different workouts you did to prepare for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Midnight Calls

I'm embarrassed to say that the other night I slept through a call. Does anyone have any tips to wake up easier for middle of the night calls?

What should i do

Ok guys i classes coming up that I need for the state of IL, my employer wont let me have time off because they say Im JUST a volunteer, when other employees take time off for classes all year round. What do I do/ can I do
