Why I Joined Fire/EMS: When the citizens of Warrington saw a need for fire protection they decided to form the Warrington Volunteer Fire Dept. in March 1947.

The Warrington Volunteer Fire District is also known as Station 16. The 16 is the designation of our personnel and equipment. Our rank structure is as follows:

1601 Chief 1602 Deputy Chief 1603 Assistant Chief

1604 House Captain

1605 - 1609 Captain

1611,1613 Engine Numbers (also have Truck 16 and Squad 16 )

1631 House Lt.

1632 - 1635 Lieutenant

1636 - 1639 Engineers

1641 - 1649 FF/EMT

1651 - 1659… Continue

To Date:
our county (Escambia County .. 18 stations) has ran 2,113 calls.
Our station has ran 190 calls.
We have 48 active members and 12 reserve members.

Last Year.

Last year our station ran 1093 in district calls and 242 mutual aid calls.
