About Me:: I have grown to love every aspect of the fire/ems job. As with any job there are things to love and things to hate but its how you deal with them that either makes you valuable to the company or not.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I joined just to see what Firefighting was all about and I have been doing it ever since. I am now in EMS and love it. My goal is to become a Firemedic and go to a paid dept.

Why I Love Fire/EMS: The knowledge that I helped someone or made an impact on their life

Top Issues Facing Responders:: Our biggest problem with rural ems is that its hard to get staffing and keep our trucks in county. we run 90% transfers to another facility 70 miles to a 100 miles south of us.
